Terms & Conditions of Purchase


Buying & Shipping:

Our products may be securely purchased online with credit cards, including: MasterCard, Visa & AMEX.  As a rule, shipments can be made only to the address of record on your credit card billing statement. This is for your protection! If you must "drop ship" i.e. ship to a different address, prior to shipping your order, we may contact you by telephone or email for your explanation.

International customers are soley responsible for payment of any and all shipping, taxes, duty, import fees etc. which may be imposed in addition to transportation. Shipping costs are not generated automatically. Based on your chosen shipping method, costs are calculated in our office and will be added to the total shown on your initial "Order Confirmation". We make every effort to keep your shipping costs down and we may from time to time suggest an alternative shipping method or choose an alternative carrier to best deliver your order in a timely, cost effective manner.

ALL DOMESTIC ORDERS are subject to a $5.00 handling/processing fee and ALL EXPORT ORDERS are assessed $12.00 for handling/processing. These charges do show on your confirmation and may appear as "shipping" charges.

Returns Policy:
If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return most* items within 30 days for full credit less the cost of shipping. Unless we tell you otherwise, all customers are responsible for the cost of return freight. Refunds will be made only by issuing a credit back to the credit card which was used for your original purchase - no exceptions.

To obtain a RA (return authorization), you must first email us at: Return Authorizations. We will respond with instructions and an authorization number. International customers will be provided with detailed instructions for properly shipping return items.

Returned merchandise, must include a copy of your original order confirmation or invoice inside of the return container.  If possible, use the original container and pack items carefully. Merchandise which is damaged in shipping as a result of your poor packaging will not be accepted for return credit. Returned merchandise must be in "as new" condition, i.e. minimal wear and no damage.

Our liability re: D.I.Y. Kits/Modifications:
MDI PrecisionMotorWorks will assume no responsibility for the results of kits installed by, or for our customers by any third party. We warrant only that we will provide the necessary parts and instructions to accomplish well tested and proven upgrades and/or modifications. In instances where we have no control over the quality of workmanship or the level of expertise of installers, we assume no responsibility for end result or any damage done to property as a result of any such poor workmanship or lack of expertise.

 
*Items which generally may not be returned include:
  • Opened ball bearings
  • Cleaning fluids
  • Software and/or documents in printed or digital format
  • Electronic component parts
  • Upgrade or Modification Kits
