Honestly, we're excited about this stuff. We've worked real hard for years to make sure every one of our house remanufactured ATR-100's is virtually "bulletproof". Now, you can bulletproof your ATR, and save a bundle. In a few spare hours, you* can install these proven enhancements to dramatically improve the stability and performance of your ATR-100.
We've gathered together all the parts you need and labored over detailed drawings, schematics, photographs and instructions, to be able to offer these upgrades in kit form. 
Price: $299.00 per channel or (2) channels for $538.20

Things you'll need: (P.S. if you don't know what any of this stuff is, please don't buy the kits)
1. If possible, a solder/desolder station. Or at minimum, a good soldering iron and a decent hand operated desoldering pump. 2. Fair supply of electrical solder /.030"-.035 dia. (available at Radio Shack - if you must) 3. Desoldering braid. (available at Radio Shack - if you must) 4. A "Dremel" style rotary tool with a few small, ball end burrs and/or Xacto knife. 5. 3/32" allen wrench.

*While these kits are very straight forward, they are not suggested if you've never held a soldering iron, i.e. not to be considered as "my first electronics project".
Fresh capacitors, robust matched transistors, and improved, better regulated, better protected +/- 12v. rails to power the opamps here onboard and on the Reel Servo PWA (9) which this board feeds.

Fresh electrolytics capacitors, robust matched transistors, and a "quieter", more stable PWM (pulse width modulator) driving your reel motors. Add "onboard" failsafe to protect the pcb traces in the event of a serious failure and you've got a "must do"!
